Additional Information

Seeking to have the 1983 Mental Health Act at 135(1) amended so that police attendance to execute a warrant of entry is no longer required. This will free up police resources andthe warrant could just refer to the assessors at the Mental Health Act assessment being in attendance to execute it, namely, an Approved Mental Health Professioanal and a doctor.
