A FAIR AND JUST DEAL FOR ARMY PERSONNEL
Armed forces personnel looking forward to their annual leave, and spending time with family and friends, now find that their annual leave is cancelled or cut short. WHY? because this GOVERNMENT and their partner G4S have botched the security of the most prestigious
event in recent history, The OLYMPIC GAMES.
Also note our government taking its annual leave without a second thought.
armed forces to cover the security of the games, OUTRAGEOUS
ARMED FORCES PERSONNEL BEING HOUSED IN A DISUSED WAREHOUSE,
MORE TROOPS AT THE GAMES, THAN IN AFGHANISTAN,
TROOPS LIVING ON ARMY RATIONS,
EMPLOYEES OF G4S OFFERED HOTEL ACCOMODATION,
TROOPS LOSING ONE OR TWO WEEKS LEAVE
HAVING TO CANCEL HOLIDAYS, WEDDINGS, ETC.
Totally unjust to expect our troops to pick up the pieces at such short notice.
GOVERNMENT need to think seriously regarding a Bonus payment for the sacrifices being made by these service men and women.
