A Fair Parenting law so that both parents get equal child benefits.
Parents should receive benefits - Child Benefit, Disability Benefit or Carers allowance - for the period their child stays with them.
Parents, particularly disabled parents, need help to feed and clothe their child for the time their children are with them. Parents are having to use food banks because the benefits that should follow the child stay with the resident parent no matter where the child is actually staying.
