A14 Upgrade Yes! Toll YES!
The government have decided that the A14 is to be upgraded and will introduce tolling to help fund this massive project. The A14 upgrade is vital to the regions economy and for far too long this major route from the East to the Midlands suffers massive congestion due to the shear volume of traffic using this road daily.
There are petitions calling for this road not to be tolled but for every argument against this there will be those for it
In today's economy we cannot always expect everything for nothing, even when we pay road fund licence and excessive tax on fuel there is never enough in the pot to keep our countries vital roads moving.
So yes we support the upgrade of the A14 and yes road users must contribute to ensure this major route gets upgrade it deserves.
