Sir Meryn King himself is quoted as saying “Of all the banking systems we could have in the world this is the worst”
It is impossible for central planners to set interest rates, monetary supply at correct levels. It has done huge amounts of damage to the economy, and is highly responsible for the recent economic collapse, which has gone unnoticed. Current quantitative easing is destroying the value of the currency, government bonds are likely to collapse, and hyperinflation is equally possible now.
Plenty of alternative free market solutions are available.

End the bank of England.
