Social work budget cuts affect the vulnerable further, as money for services and assistance will slashed due to lack of funding. inevitably help will be cut!!
action required:- Serious consideration and action taken to ensure that a substantial increase not decrease of monies are available to social work systems and initiatives when working for the vulnerable in society. Action required with input from social workers, general public, service users/clients and their carers and families to gain an understanding what is lacking in care that is being implemented or being stopped due to money issues.
