Adoption of an 'opt-out' sytem for Organ Donation
Calling for government to consider adopting an opt-out/presumed consent system for organ donation, noting that, with the present system, the NHS Blood and Transport reports that although surveys suggest up to 90% of the UK population support organ donation, only around 25% have joined the Organ Donation Register.
