All utility companies should be brought back under state ownership
It is a widley accepted fact that water and energy companies have been making enormous profits by overcharging the genreal public. By bringing all utlilty companies back under state control we can all benifit from reduced utility bills and discounts can be offered to thoses who struggle to pay their bills. Additionally we can stop the regional disparity of utility rates.
Most of the British energy companies are themselves owned by foriegn companies. Any profits made from the sales of gas and electricity is wealth that us being funneled out of this country when we need it the most.
