Muslim school children to be allowed Eid as holiday
Muslim students in the UK don't get a holiday on the two Eid days every year - Eid ul Fitar and Eid ul Adha. Being the only two (or the biggest two) religious celebrations for the Muslims the students should get official holidays on these two occasions.
Islam is the second largest religion with results from the United Kingdom Census 2011. The number of people practicing the religion of Islam in the United Kingdom exceeds 3 million. Some neighborhood towns have more than 50% Muslim population.
