Amend the maximum penalty for animal cruelty from 12 months to at least 7 years.

Petition Details

Dogs needlessly die and hundreds more are injured. The current 12 month maximum penalty for animal cruelty is not acceptable. Maximum penalty for theft is 7 years, we want at least the same punishment for cruelty to animals.
