We the undersigned urge the Rt Hon. Andrew Mitchell to resign as a chief whip. His remarks against the police are insulting and belittling. Someone with such view, attitudes and behaviours cannot be trusted to hold such an important role. If he does not stand down the prime minister should force his dismissal.
