Petition Action

Anonymity for anyone accused of sex offences UNTIL proven guilty

Additional Information

We the undersigned demand a change in the law to grant anonymity for anyone accused of sexual offences until they are convicted of the crimes.

Someone who is falsely accused has their names dragged through the mud and will always be accosiated with the stigma of sexual offences even when they have never and most probably will never commit these heinous crimes.

For This reason the accused should be granted the same anonymity of the accusors until the case is decided in a court of law.
