Any political party polling above 15% with Ipsos MORI should be granted participation in televised, pre-election debates broadcast by the BBC.
The BBC is a public institution that is impartial. Therefore, if it arranges a pre-election debate for broadcast, by invite or otherwise, there must be criteria in place to ensure political equality. These criteria have been set out in the title of this petition.
If you agree with these criteria, please sign the petition.
This petition is directed at the Attorney General's Office, the guardians of the public interest, as political discrimination and/or persecution is a contravention of aformentioned public interest.
