Facial recognition software, Automatic numberplate readers and CCTV are increasingly assisting criminal convictions in the uk.

The Quran has no requirement that women cover their faces with a veil, or cover their bodies with the full-body burqua or chador

Uk law needs to support the Recent ruling by the European court, that the French legislature was seeking to satisfy the need "to identify individuals" and so prevent danger to people.
The bill had previously been passed on 13 July 2010.
