Some recruitment agencies charge a Fee for processing your wages. They pay your wages to a third party company who processes them and pays the remainder minus 10-20% into your bank.

Additional Information

My Partner worked for a recruitment agency, they got him to sign a contract with a third party agreeing to the wages deduction.
He was desperate for work and signed, he then realised he was working alongside other agency staff who worked for a reputable company who didn't do that.
He was not allowed to transfer to the other company.
So effectively on minimum wage after deduction for processing he was being paid 10% less than the minimum wage.
This is a con. It does not take much skill to set up sage or some other pay software, They are ripping the low paid off and need to be outlawed.
