BENEFITS PAYABLE TO IMMIGRANTS TO THE UK
It is proposed that no benefits are payable to immigrants to the UK until they have worked for the equivalent of 2 years at the average wage (total £52,000) and paid tax on that sum. Only after this time will individuals be eligible to receive benefits from the UK government.
