Bring back National Service - Let us unite Britain.
The Government should have a referendum on reinstating National Service.
A mandatory 2 year programme targeted at young offenders - an alternative to prison.
Teaching discipline, respect, leadership and “The Big Society" values.
12 months carrying out community work in their local community.
Street cleaning, waste collection, road repairs, community engagement, support for elderly and vulnerable.
All work that County Councils currently have to subsidise.
12 months active service in the Armed Forces.
Loss of all benefit entitlements. Receiving a payment equivalent to the rate of Jobseekers Allowance for a 37 hour working week.
Please debate this matter in Parliament.
