Change abortion laws in Northern Ireland to the same as the U K
Westminster could easily overturn the abortion ban by passing legislation in the House of Commons. There is a particularly clear case for this as a High Court found in November that Northern Ireland’s abortion ban breaches international human rights law.
It needs to be updated for women's health.

Your petition is about something that the Northern Ireland Assembly is responsible for. The UK Government and Parliament is unable to legislate on matters which are devolved to Northern Ireland. You could start a petition calling for the UK Parliament to legislate to return powers over abortion back to the UK Parliament.
