Change Building Regulations to make it an obligation to include a fireplace and chimney in ALL new domestic residences.

With this country in danger of being cut off from gas supplies coming from Eastern Europe AND the impending shut down of all our nuclear generating facilities - NOT MENTIONING THE DEBACLE OVER THE LACK OF SUCCESS OF EXTREMELY TAXPAYER POUNDS EXPENSE ALTERNATIVE SYSTEMS - people who live in houses which do not have a fireplace are going to be cold and hungry. In days gone by when disaster struck people could always light a fire to keep warm, boil a kettle and cook food - even if it meant burning the furniture! Houses built over the last 20 or 30 years have no fireplace nor chimney so that is not an option. THIS SITUATION MUST BE REVERSED, AND QUICKLY.
