Change employees holiday entitlement to enable parents to cover school holidays

Petition Details

Currently school holidays excluding bank holiday days equate to 52 days off per year, those who work struggle to cover these dates using their holiday entitlement from work, even 2 parent families only get 40 days leave combined.

Additional Information

Currently school holidays excluding bank holiday days equate to 52 days off per year, those who work struggle to cover these dates using their holiday entitlement from work, even 2 parent families only get 40 days leave combined. Either raise entitlement to 26 days + bank hols per person or reduce school holidays by removing half terms to enable working parents to care for their children during the holidays
