change in the law for animal cruelty

Additional Information

In addition to the sentencing of people convicted of animal cruelty there is often a set time imposed on when the offender is allowed to keep pets. This is usually 5-10 years. I believe that this should be a lifetime ban. Would you really tell a convicted paedophile that they are not allowed to babysit for 10 years? No! you wouldn't put the children at risk, so why put animals at risk.
