Petition Action

Change Law on Company Contracts for Workers

Additional Information

Stop companies making contracts which state that they can change the contract at any time to suit themselves!

Stop employers writing must be fully flexible in Job advertisements. This can discriminate against single working parents and other people who just can't be fully flexible for genuine reasons.

Go back to old style contracts where working days/hours are stated

Make employers have more contracts to suit working parents who can't work weekends due to childminding issues. Registered child minders do not work weekends.

More flexibility for single parents regarding working hours, especially in large companies such as retail.

Stop employers bullying workers in to working any hours they want!
