Petition Action

Change the Dangerous Dogs Act to help save dog's lives

Additional Information

I would like to have the dangerous dog act changed so that dogs that are wrongly accused or dogs that have commited an offence that isnt too serious the possibility to be rehabilitated and continue to live instead of just being given the option of being put down or "destroyed",ndependently of where or how the offence is commited, if the offence isnt serious(ie,no previous record, no signs of aggressiveness towards animals or humans and this is an isolated incident where the dog acted completely out of character and the nature of injuries doesnt require treatment).Evidence from people that know the dog and have interacted with it should be allowed as character references and for legal purposes to help save the dog's life.
