Petition Action

Change the law for animal cruelty

Additional Information

As an animal lover I find it absolutely disgusting you can cause unnecessary pain and suffering to an animal and only face a fine.

The law needs to change. Too many animals are neglected and when their owners are caught they almost never receive custodial sentences.

Examples include;

I ask you to change the law. Impose mandatory custodial sentences for neglect AND make banning orders for life, not just a few years.
