Petition Action

Chief Constable Simon Bailey

Additional Information

This petition is being raised for the citizens of this country to request that the Home Office sack Chief Constable Simon Bailey of the Norfolk Constabulary for his ridiculous statements of "Don't lock up web perverts... treat them on the NHS" and that suggesting thousands of paedophiles viewing child abuse images online should not be jailed but instead treated by the NHS.
He also claims
Claims at least half of those looking at images pose no threat to children.
This is a person elected by the Home Office to oversee and lead a police force..yet he gives statements such as these...HOW can you as a parent have faith in the police when a senior officer makes comments such as these?...So I say that SIMON BAILEY IS UNFIT FOR OFFICE and therefore should be relieved of his duties and sacked..
