Citizenship of an independent Scotland must be available to all subjects of the United Kingdom.
Many UK subjects do not wish to be owned by a monarch. Scottish independence could therefore offer a unique opportunity for such people. If independence is achieved, Scottish citizenship must be available to every UK national.
