Clemency for Marine A recently convicted for murder
Marine A recently convicted for murder in Helmand province should not receive a mandatory life sentence.
Due regard should be given for the fact it was in a war zone with all the life and death situations faced on a hourly and daily basis.
A custodial sentence is appropriate but not life.
