All visitors to the UK should meet certain minimal conditions to be let into the country:
* Have proof of identity and any necessary visa cover
* Be of good character
* Have sufficient money to support themselves for the period of the visit
* Have no prohibited substances or articles in their possession
* Have suitable travel insurance to cover any likely medical expenses
* Have a return ticket
