Create further protection for the UK's Human Rights Act of 1998

Petition Details

The UK's legal human rights are formed from the Human Rights Act of 1998, and was protected informally by our membership of the EU. It is now possible future governments will adapt or remove UK citizens human rights easily if no protection through a 2/3rds parliamentary majority is created.

Additional Information

The following explains how the Human Rights Act protects rights we all assume we have:

And evidence of considerations to remove the act by members of the Government:

Do not allow your rights as individuals in the UK to be lost because the UK has left the EU.
