Create option to sign in opposition to any Parliament and Government petition.

Petition Details

Currently it is only possible to sign in agreement or support of any petition that is put up on this website. This is an obstacle to balanced discussion especially in cases where a petition goes to Parliament for a debate. Essentially this would be similar to MPs 'opposing' a new law, bill, etc.

Additional Information

If approved there would need to be review of the current rules regarding when a governmental response is needed (10,000 signatures) or parliamentary debate (100,000 signatures). Specifically would signatures in support of and in opposition be summed up or counted separately.
