Petition Action

Credit refernce agencies not allow unathorised searches

Additional Information

Credit reference agencies for some bizare reasons allow organisations to search the credit files of people when the individual has not authroise the search. Ironically these searches affect the individual's credit score. This need to stop.

Also credit reference agencies should be made to keep previous searches on people's credit file for less time than the current 2 years.
