Petition Action

Cut Jobseeker's Allowance for people who have been on it for more than a year.

Additional Information

People who have been on Jobseek's for longer than a year should have their benefits cut . It should be essential that written proof of job applications is provided, with verbal not be accepted, to stop people just pretending to apply for jobs. It's not fair on those of us who actually work and pay tax to have to fund people who sit and do nothing, may of whom have no intention of ever doing anything and are happy having everything for free. They should at least be made to do "community service" type jobs whilst seeking employment to at least make themselves useful!
