Petition Action

Debate on Misinformation by Lib Dems May 2010

Additional Information

The undersigned hereby call upon the Attorney General and Parliament to debate the possible actions of misinformation, outside of public interest, undertaken by the Liberal Democrat party regarding the May 2010 General Election and the campaign period prior.

The actions alleged are to include: misleading the public on primary election issues, such as student fees and government spending, for political gain; distributing campaign material with the primary message of preventing the Conservative Party from coming to power yet instating them in spite of this; signing documents falsely purporting them as 'election promises' for political gain.

As the undersigned I declare that I support a Parliamentary debate into the extent, legality and morality against the public interest of the aforementioned alleged actions.
