Double UK funds for fighting Ebola in West Africa
UK should double the funds allocated to the fight of Ebola in West Africa with immediate effect.
If needed, the additional money should be found by diverting funds earmarked for longer term projects in the Department for International Development, and which are not related to Ebola. Such commitments will be money wasted if Ebola is not brought under control.
This is the hour for the UK to demonstrate true international leadership on this crisis which threatens everyone - in the UK, across the world, and most notably the poorest.
