Duty Court Solicitors
Why is it when a court duty solicitor represents a client who has not arranged his/her own solicitor applies for Legal Aid to represent said client? Surely duty solicitors could be paid a salary by the court as are other court staff such as ushers & clerks - This would make a great saving on the Legal Aid bill
