e-Petitions for Local Councils

Additional Information

I'd like Local Councils to adopt their own e-Petitions system so that council tax payers can decide on how their money is (often frivolously) spent. Allowing unpopular policies to be vetoed without having to wait up to 4 years until the next elections and providing a convenient forum to provide fresh ideas.
