End child benefit - funds to be used for free school meals for ALL pupils

Additional Information

If all pupils in British schools eat lunch - why not stop child benefit (and all the bureaucracy that goes with its administration) and provide healthy, top quality lunches for ALL pupils at school. The extra funding combined with economies of scale would improve what school caterers could provide, and no child or teenager would feel stigmatised for having school meals.
Child benefit should benefit children directly..this is one way that all children could. Make meals free from nursery school to the end of A levels...
