End the TV License, instead making the BBC an optional subscription service.
The BBC should be self-funding. Most people now opt for a subscription based service such as Sky, BT or Virgin Media. Paying £145 per annum for the service of the BBC should be a thing of the past. Either fund the BBC via adverts or offer as a paid subscription service.
