Enlarge the area eligible for high cost area supplements for NHS staff
The cost of living in South East England in areas such as Brighton and Hove is now on par with London.
NHS staff in these areas are struggling to meet the basic costs of living such as rent, food and travel. We propose extending the fringe area eligible for high cost area supplement to Sussex.
