Ensure all decisions made by government regarding education are evidence based.
Many of the decisions being made about our children's education go against what evidence suggests is beneficial. This is resulting in unnecessary pressures on our children. If the decisions made are backed up by evidence we can be more confident in the appropriate education for our children.
The increased pressure on our children is having a detrimental effect on their mental health. There has been a 25% increase in referrals to CAMHS since 2012 http://www.publications.parliament.uk/pa/cm201415/cmselect/cmhealth/342/34205.htm
