For the disability act and human rights act to protect vulnerable children

Petition Details

A 14 yr old disabled daughter was made to swim naked and inappropriately restrained out of school swimming pool by swimming teacher to teach her that it is a dangerous place. Failed to report it. Safeguarding failed to investigate in a timely manner and it wasn't criminal offence.

Additional Information

Safe guarding upheld and admitted that there were delays. iPcc upheld my complaint as wasn't even investigated initially. The correct complaints procedure within school took over 12 months to conclude, the teacher was reinstated. This then effects the application for human rights breaches. A normal child would be disciplined in this manner and it isn't a criminal offence, there has been a second incident where by another child was put on s school bus naked 12 months later nothing learnt.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action. You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
