Nowadays transport is very expensive, and education is also very expensive, so the government should compensate for this by providing free public transport for those in full-time education.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

The issue you raise is the responsibility of local train and bus companies, and not of the UK Government or Parliament.

While the Government cannot set the price of travel on public transport, it could offer subsidies to those in full time education to help toward the cost. You may wish to sign this petition:
