Petition Action

Freedom to parody or ridicule with satire, comment with sarcasm without prejudice, bigotry or racism.

Additional Information

With the recent comments by Jeremy Clarkson, on the BBC One, One Show, and the subsequent politically biased assessment of those comments by politicians and other parties alike. It is a essential for a free society, for individuals are tolerated to parody, ridicule with satire, or comment with sarcasm any reasonable subject matter be it considered offence or not, as long as it is not made for political gain, to cause hatred almost others and is given without prejudice, nor bigotry nor racism. We must recognise that often such comment is for comedic effect. Whether or not we personally do not find it to be comedy, that we ourselves find 'funny' !. The individual therefore must remain free to perform such comedy in our free society.
