Fully fund Concessionary Travel
A funding gap exists between Government allocation and the cost to councils of Concessionary Travel. The gap stands at £652million Only 50% is being supported by government; and will decrease to only 25%.
Lack of funding has led to the reduction in the councils budgets for supported bus services.
