Fund the BBC from general taxation
Now that almost all of the population has a television or internet access to BBC material, the time has come to drop the TV licence fee and fund the BBC from (slightly increased) general taxation. Removing all the television licence administration would make a significant contribution to reducing public spending without detriment to the consumer.
