Funding of university education (abolition of tuition fees)

Additional Information

Higher education is beneficial not just to the individual but to society as a whole; the Department of Business describes it as 'a major contributor to the economic success and social well being of the country'. In recognition of this national benefit, this petition calls on government to remove the burden of higher education funding from the individual and to return to full funding of university education from national taxation.
