Petition Action

Give £1 million to each person in the UK

Additional Information

Part of the £ billions being used for quantitative easing is be used to give each person in the UK over the age of 18, and on the electoral register, a sum of £1 million.

There will be rules for the use of that £1 million.

All personal debts, including mortgages, must be repaid immediately.

All persons under the age of retirement who are working must continue to work. The balance of their £1 million will be paid to them spread over the next 10 years.

Those without a job, or those who stop working, will only get £15,000 per annum until they get a job.

A "job" does include voluntary working over 30hrs per week.

Those who are unable to work, or who are retired, will get the balance of their £1 million paid to them spread over the next 10 years.

If anyone dies before the end of the 10 years, their balance can be passed on without inheritance tax.

Each person who turns 18, and who then appears on the electoral register, will become eligible for their £1 million.
