Petition Action

Give a free vote on EU Referendum

Additional Information

The previous e-petition on a referendum on EU membership garnered over 100,000 votes, however the government feels that they can ignore the public by using the three line whip.

This e-petition seeks to gain over 100,000 votes to force Parliament to have a free and unfettered vote on holding a referendum on EU membership.

Therefore if passed, then Parliament and the Government should once again vote on a EU membership referendum but allow MPs to vote according to their constituents wishes.
