Give teachers control of the classroom

Additional Information

The Department for Education guidelines on the use of force should be made law to protect teachers and all other classroom workers who have to defend themselves, colleagues and pupils from verbal and physical abuse. Headteachers and Governors should also be made, by law, to support teachers exercising these powers.
