Give women 2 paid days off a month when needed during their time of the month.

Menstruation is bleeding that occurs when the uterus sheds its lining. Periods usually last from 2-7 days and can be light/heavy. Along with that women experience other symptoms such as back, neck and headaches, nausea, and diarrhea. Most women have to endure this whilst working and it's not right.

Additionally more symptoms are migraines, stomachaches, and vomiting. Up to 20% of women experience extreme cramps at the onset of a period – a condition called dysmenorrhea. These cramps cause immense discomfort and pain, experiencing this at work affects productivity. Many women don't take sick days as it's something they know will come and simply cannot avoid unlike viral or bacterial illnesses almost all people experience. Other countries have adopted this and the UK should rightly follow suit.
